自述

我以自然入画，赞叹于大自然的美与力量和我们身边简单而平常的事物。我试图捕捉每种材料的精神以及触摸现实之外的东西。

通常，我看到喜欢的事物，构图就自然浮现在我心中。大部分情况下，我不会改变我看到某样事物后想到的构图。我不喜欢堆积在一起，更欣赏简单、有时甚至是极简的东西，同时也喜欢打破常规。

我经常通过触摸来感知物体。有时，我会在作画前长时间观察风景。突然之间，我会感受到要做的事，我发现已经了解了物体，就好像他们信任我。有时我画得很快，有时很慢；这取决于具体的作品。

我希望我的画能体现我之所见或所感，带领我走近事物的本质。

技法上而言，我不遵循任何规则。我对技法部分也不怎么感兴趣，情感是更重要的。我试图用不同的创作方式创作每一幅作品。热爱会让人发现新的方法，因此，我发现了许多新机会。水彩有非常多的表达，我将不同的技法融汇在一幅画里。根据绘画主体的不同，我会用不同类型的纸张。我喜欢在复古和手工纸上作画。

多年前我便爱上了水彩画，并将我的所有时间都投入到这一美丽、多变而事实上很困难的材质上。

简历

水彩画家，现实主义者、魔幻现实主义者，自学成才，目前工作生活在保加利亚的索菲亚。

• 1975 - 出生于保加利亚的班斯科镇。
• 1994 - 毕业于班斯科镇的木雕班。
• 1996 - 搬到保加利亚的索菲亚生活。
• 1998 - 发现水彩这一种表达方式。

国际水彩画大师协会成员，且是该协会中保加利亚的国家代表。

他在世界各国已举办16场个展和39场群展，并获得保加利亚和其他国家多个奖项，其艺术简历丰富而多样。

I paint from nature and I bow before the beautyand the forces of the Nature and the simple,ordinary things around us.Try to catch the spirit of each material and totouch the thing beyond reality.

I usually see something I like, and the composition just becomes visible to my inner eye. Very often the composition is ready when I see it and I don’t change anything. Don’t like cluttered compositions; I prefer something simple, sometimes minimalistic and the same time rule breaking.

I often touch objects to feel them. Sometimes I observe a landscape for a long time before I start painting it. Suddenly I feel that I know what I have to do, that I know the objects.It feels as they trust me. Sometimes I paint fast, sometimes very slowly; the very work determines it.

I want my paintings to reflect everything I see or feel, to bring me closer to the essence of things.

Technically don’t follow any rules.I’m not that interested in the technical part; emotions are much more important.Try to paint every new painting in a way that is different from the previous. Love discovering new methods.Thus I discover new opportunities.Watercolor has enormous large range of expressions.I combine many different techniques in the same painting.I use different types of paper depending on what I want to paint. Love to work on vintage and handmade papers.

I fell in love with watercolor many years ago and dedicated all my time to this beautiful, versatile and really difficult medium.

• 1975 - Born in the town of Bansko, Bulgaria.
• 1994 - Graduated from the woodcarving class inhis native town.
• 1996 - Moved to live in Sofia, Bulgaria.

Member of IMWA (International Masters of Watercolor Alliance) and country representative for Bulgaria.

He has had 16 solo exhibitions and 39 joint exhibitions in all over the world, he is a winner of prestigious awards in Bulgaria and abroad, and his creative biography is rich and varied.
