步入展厅,首先映入眼帘的是以布面油画向郭熙、范宽、李成等宋元大师的致意之作。这并非简单的形貌摹写,而是一次以当代绘画语法对山水精神内在结构的重构。
艺术家在延续传统构图气韵的同时,大胆运用抽象肌理、层叠油彩与流动笔触,将古典山水中的“气”与“象”转换为可感知的视觉现场。这是一次跨越千年的美学接续,亦是东方写意精神与西方材料语言的共生实验。
在这里,山不仅是山,水不仅是水,而是穿透时间的精神符号,等待与当下的你相遇。

转身之间,媒介转换,视角流转——展览的第二维度聚焦宁波,这座被水塑造的城市。
艺术家以水墨为语言,展开对水之形态与意蕴的诗意叩问。河流、湖泊、海洋在此不仅是地理景观,更是承载历史记忆与生命流动的文化载体。
通过抽象而含蓄的表现方式,作品捕捉水流的韵律、光的瞬逝、风动涟漪的痕迹,进而追问:水如何连接过去与当下?如何融汇有形与无形?
宁波作为水乡与港口的重叠体,兼有静谧与涌动、典雅与开放的双重气质,恰如三江汇流,在矛盾中达成和谐——这一切,都在水墨的氤氲中徐徐展开。

展览构建了一个开放的话语场域,邀请每一位观者进入这场对话,在凝视与行走之间,体会贯穿不同维度的精神线索——它们关乎记忆、自然,也关乎始终流动、生生不息的东方美学现代性。
这场展览,是一次美学的跋涉,也是一次精神的返乡。我们诚邀你前来,在双重视角的交错中,看见传统在当代的重生,感受地方与世界的共鸣。融汇之处,恰是对话开始之时...
‘Convergence’ aims to explore through two distinct mediums and a dual artistic approach, presenting a visual dialogue that transcends time, culture, and form.
In the first dimension, I have created a series of oil-on-canvas works as a tribute to classical Chinese landscape masters such as Guo Xi, Fan Kuan, Li Cheng, Li Tang, Ma Yuan, Tang Yin, Tang Di, and Xia Gui. These works are not mere imitations but rather contemporary reinterpretations of traditional ink aesthetics. While preserving the grand rhythm and compositional essence of the originals, I transform the spirit and energy of classical landscapes into tangible contemporary imagery through abstract brushwork and the rich language of oil paint. This is both a tribute to the profound craftsmanship of past masters and a cross-generational transmission of Eastern aesthetic spirit, allowing the artistic soul of millennia past to continue growing on today's canvas and achieving a fusion and symbiosis of ancient artistic conceptions with contemporary Western expression.
In the second dimension, I turn my gaze to Ningbo, a land rich in water-inspired charm, exploring the diverse forms of water in this city—rivers, lakes, and the ocean—through abstract and poetic expressions. The works attempt to capture the rhythmic movement of water, questioning how it has bestowed vitality upon Ningbo for thousands of years and how different forms of water elements naturally merge. As a typical Jiangnan water town and port city, Ningbo embodies multiple qualities of past and present, movement and stillness, reserve and openness, harmoniously coexisting like the confluence of the Fenghua River, Yao River, and Yong River. Furthermore, intangible elements such as light, air, and wind, flowing and interacting across different water bodies, have become significant inspirations for my ink wash creations. Through the permeation and diffusion of ink, I seek to capture how these intangible forces shape water surfaces, integrate into flowing currents, and ultimately achieve a seamless poetic unity with water.
‘Convergence’ is not merely a fusion of artistic forms and Eastern-Western aesthetics but also a profound contemplation on cultural heritage, local spirit, and natural philosophy. I invite viewers to immerse themselves in this dialogue across two dimensions, experiencing the boundless beauty of integration between past and present, land and water, form and spirit.
