原件高18.5厘米,底径19.0厘米。2004年余姚市田螺山遗址出土,现藏余姚博物馆。

夹砂红陶。呈圆锥体,中空,顶端弯曲成一支撑面。弧面戳划人面双目、鼻孔与嘴。手法简练,生动形象。额头处饰半环形整,为田螺山遗址出土中较独特之器物。

The original object is sized as 16.6 cm in height and 19.0 cm in base diameter. It was unearthed from the Tianluoshan site in Yuyao in 2004, and is currently in the collection of Yuyao Museum.

It is a unique object unearthed from the Tianluoshan site. Made with sand-tempered red pottery, the support is hollow and in the cone shape with its top curved into a supporting surface. The curved side is carved with a human face consisting of two eyes, two nostrils and a mouth. It is simple and vivid. The forehead decoration is made in the half-ring shape.
